My relationship with jewelry

The Creative Director

My relationship with jewelry began early. Growing up in the 1980s, I developed a strong love for bold, expressive piece like plastic earrings, statement brooches and decorative pins. My mother would sometimes sew blazers for me which I embellished with brooches and wore proudly to school. At the time, this style was unconventional as very few teenagers dressed that way. Looking back, those early choices were my first experiments with using jewelry not just as ornamentation but as structure—pieces that completed an outfit and gave it character.

Elevating confidence

Jewellery as a way to tell a personal story

That fascination stayed with me and evolved over time. Jewellery became a way to understand how accessories can transform clothing, elevate confidence and tell a personal story.

For many years, however, my creative voice was blocked while supporting my former partner in building his dreams and legacy. Although choosing divorce was ultimately the right decision for my growth, it left me feeling unanchored—unsure of who I was outside of someone else’s vision and uncertain of what path to take next.

Clarity arrived

Drawing instinctively and without judgment

Clarity arrived unexpectedly during a quiet walk in Scandinavian nature with my two Maltipoos. I slowed down and became deeply present noticing the subtle details of the landscape, the curves of leaves, the structure of flowers and the stillness in between. I began collecting small natural elements and once home, felt an undeniable urge to create. Drawing instinctively and without judgment, I reconnected with a part of myself that had long been dormant.
