She is no one woman. And perhaps, she is every woman.

Throughout The Becoming Journal, we simply call her “she.”  She has no name, no age and no single story because the experiences that shape her are not hers alone.

She changes. She begins again. She holds on and lets go. She questions who she is, discovers parts of herself she had forgotten and sometimes finds herself becoming someone she never expected to be.

Her circumstances may be different from ours but somewhere within her story, we may recognise something of our own.

The Becoming Journal is a growing collection of stories about the many chapters of a woman’s life — identity, resilience, release, authenticity, rediscovery, growth, transformation and renewal. Each entry explores one of those moments through story, imagery and jewellery.

Here, we keep each entry together as the journal continues to unfold.
